Burn After Reading 2

_

Broad running waters splash
Visions, wetting over years,
Eroding fireworks, rocks,
And then gone…

I want to fuck
With the windows open
So the pinched and twisted,
Cruel and bitter,
Friendly neighbour faces
Can reflect…

Their tutting like the rocking bed.
Their cheeks a burned, exhausted red.
Arching eyebrows splayed like legs.
I find I want to lick their foreheads…

So pull tight the curtains,
Hide me back
In void alone
To float
-clouds of smoke over whisky rivers-
In soggy Atlantis.
